Zechariah 12:9-11

⁹ “‘At that time,^[a] I will search out and destroy all of the nations who have come against Jerusalem. ¹⁰ I will pour out on the house of David and on the residents of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and of supplications, and they will look to me—the one whom they pierced.’”^[b]

Mourning in Jerusalem

Then they will mourn for him, as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for him, as for a firstborn son. ¹¹ At that time,^[c] Jerusalem will mourn deeply, like the mourning about Hadad-rimmon^[d] that took place in the plain of Megiddo.
